insurance companies arrrrrrggggg!!!!

OK!!! for the last three hours I have been on the phone with the hospital, then the insurance company. each blaming the other for the denial of charges. One says it is the way that they billed it and the other stating they have accepted all the rest of the charges. So needless to say we are looking at 10,000 dollars that we are going to have to pay unless we get a small miracle. I guess we have 60 homecare visits that are covered but the max dollar amount is 10,000 dollars..with each visit costing about 500 dollars that is about 10 visits. so why do they say 60 visits. anyway sorry I just needed to vent. Insurance companies are sooooo stupid. there are so many little stipulations that are only read in fine print. they really need to send an individual out with your paperwork so you can just ask the question to that person. our own personal insurance robots. I like that Idea...i think it is a multi-million dollar idea. Great I found a way to pay the bills and make life easier for all. I have accomplished the days Goal.

Babbles..randoms and funnies(or gross which ever you think)......

1. babbles......So I am sitting here....it is Saturday, and i think i have everything ready. My friend Erin and I are planning my friend Toby's baby shower. Her first turns 1 in like a week and the new one is due in about a month. Crazy, I know. Anyway, last night after being gone all day shopping for her gifts from everyone...i realized that I was 10 servings short on soup. if you know me you know that I always have extra everything, because I hate to run out. So I called Erin and her response was "i trust your judgement". So I went to the grocery store walked around and decided to make an addition to the soup. It turned out yummmooooo!!! totally equivilent to anything that Rachel would make herself. I am such a Rachel wannabe. I can see it now...my own tv show. it is totally funny because, before I got married I would never cook and now I actually enjoy all of it, cooking and baking. Anyhoo, we will see when everyone tastes it if they like it. wish us luck? or say a prayer...we probably could use all the above.

Darce says he is pointing to Jesus....I think so too. He has definitely gotten to know him well already.

3. the funny one: Adrian came home early last night, all excited to watch the Purdue game. However we have comcast, who does not carry the big ten network...another reason of many why comcast is for lack of a better word, just STUPID!!! He spent the entire first half deciding if we were going to go somewhere to watch the game, then he decided we would go after the baby was fed and asleep, so we loaded him up and we decided to go to between the buns....it is a sports bar/restaurant. (Don't worry we didn't take our baby to the bar, although I did try last week to take him to the spring...I wanted wings and i was denied.) back on track we saw them loose...sorry babe...but the funny part was jackson puked all over himself and me, then when adrian went to take him from me he lifted him accrossed the table and the puke dripped off his leg in little droplets all the way accrossed the table. eeeewwwww....right? the best thing about between the buns though is that they have paper towel rolls right at your table. so we used them to clean it up with some wipes and at the end of the table there was this huge pile of paper towels and wipes and you know what else....and the waitress never asked about it. in this whole feasco noone noticed a thing. I was fine...i just took off my sweatshirt and thank goodness it was almost 60 degrees yesterday so I didn't freeze on the way to the car in my t-shirt.

1. I am a daughter of a farmer, I once had to help my dad in a grain bin where a rat lived...i know gross and absolutely terrifying.

2. I have a dream of singing on broadway, in a musical preferrably. On my honeymoon I busted into a tune..but that doesn't count I wasn't on the stage.

3. I have a problem sleeping if I don't fall asleep on the couch first. I sleep much better if I sleep on the couch for three hours at least then my husband wakes me up to go to bed.

6. look, i just made vikings colors....i am a VIKINGS FAN. I know they are not that good...but we have the worlds greatest running back ever. I love football. I do get a little sick of it when it is one all the time, but I get into it alot more since I have been introduced to fantasy football. it make every game a little more interesting. I wish it would go back to just being on SUNDAYS....I can't do 4 days of football.

7. I am addicted to HGTV...I can watch it all day and all night. I have about 12 different shows I watch and then I want to paint or decorate something immediately. I have all these Ideas and no money to accomplish them. No worries though I have started a book and there are about 5 ideas for every room in my house.

Mr. INDEPENDANT and the costs of his choices....

I can't believe how big he is getting so fast. Mainly in his actions cuz as you can see we aren't really growing alot. But he is so little to see him holding his own bottle, sitting up on his own, and many other things...but these are the results of feeding himself...for those with a week stomach don't look I am warning you.......

yep puke.....everywhere.......good thing this time he was laying on a blanket and not the couch. Gotta get him cleaned up and ready for the day. I do give him credit the doctor did say that one of his meds is constipating him and that this will make him not want to eat and increase the amount of puking. Oh well, we can deal. The wash machine will just see alot of us really soon.

Welcome home dada.....happy March

I can't believe it is already MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!eeeeeeeeekkkkkk....where has the year gone. Between Dr visits, feeding tubes, becoming a medication magician, bottle feeding, physical therapy, trying to feed solid foods, remembering to be a wife to my husband, having brain farts, and reidentifying that I have friends out there in the real world beyond the walls of my home....7 months have past. That is just crazy but I guess so is my life.

We got a little camera crazy the past few days we have been home alone without dada and so we had to keep him up to date with photos while he was gone. I am sure though in the morning he will say...."I think he has gotten bigger". I am so happy that Adrian will now be in town for the rest of the "busy season" known to the rest of the world as "tax time". Here we go.......I hope you enjoy!
