he's on a ROLL.....

ok so I tried really hard mom to rotate this video but it won't...Sorry. I wanted to let all of you know our little man is "on a Roll" he loves to move acrossed the floor. He turns and rolls in his bed. (not quite as bad as I thrashed in bed but close). Hope you enjoy the talking, and the rolling. He is getting to be a big boy. We continue to hope he is continuing to gain weight too.

This past weekend was full of fun. We started out with Family pics on Saturday morning. Darcy took our pictures. She did an amazing job. I can't wait to see what her photography business turns into. this is one of 68, so I will have to post some more. But this will keep you waiting.

Then when we got home, we mowed our jungle we like to call a yard. With all the rain we haven't been able to mow it when we need to so then when we do get to, we usually have to go over it twice. So I guess it is the same, either twice in a day or twice a week. While daddy was mowing and Jackson was sleeping, mommy was getting ready for the garage sale this weekend. I priced 360 items. WE are ready for people to come shopping. I need to find out when I have to go help set up. Hopefully we can make some extra spending money. I love garage sales when they go well. I think we will have another one later in the summer, we love the extra space we created and don't want to put it back in garage or the house. Amazingly that took a good portion on our day. when I first looked at the clock it was 1pm and the next time was 7pm. Yeah don't get excited Jackson woke up in between. I don't have a kid that takes 6 hour naps. :)

Then Sunday we went to church (jackson puked all over daddy at church-Happy Father's day)had lunch with Adrian's Grandparents, and then ran some Errands and went home. Where I proceeded to fall asleep and sleep til this morning. For some reason I was exhausted.

LOOK WHO'S TURNING 10 MONTHS OLD

well we are two days away from Jackson's 10 month birthday. Oh my where has time gone. I took these few pictures this past week. I love them so much. HE is looking so much like a young man and not so much my little peanut anymore. Jackson has developed such a little personality. He knows exactly what he wants and unfortunately most of the time gets it.
He is quite inquisitive. Always inspecting everything. Loves to play with the computer power cords, stethescope cords, pretty much anything that is like or is a cord he wants to play with. I know your thinking it....."does he chew on it? ".....of course. Everything goes in his mouth.
He is quite the Ham. HE has this little giggle that just can't be beat. He has gotten better. Mom can now get him to laugh. He clearly says DADA. I am still not sure he knows who it is, but he is getting better. He has started using the MMMMM letter, but still no MAMA. that is ok. he will get it. One of these days he will realized who does everything for him :).
oh yes and the little man as started to move. He has started rolling. He wants a toy and we make HIM get it. Cruel I know but it is such great motivation. *At least we are not doing it with his bottle*. That would be cruelty. At times I will be writing on here and i will look up and he has moved two feet. PRetty soon we will be rolling everywhere. He does sustain himself in a push up position too. we haven't really scooted or crawled yet though. Its coming and I can wait. I will leave you with this one. He is in love with his puppy and the best part is Macy just rolls with it all. The pinching, grabbing, and tugging....it doesn't matter, she lets him. THe other night we looked down to see Jackson holding macy's paw straight over his head. it is a loving relationship. Hope you all have an amazing week. WE will. HOT HOT HOT.....

So bummed

ok So I am BUMMED. Jackson rolled completely over tonight and we both missed it. He was playing on the floor while i was reading emails and Adrian was watching TV. And over he went.. he was flat on his stomach when we looked up.

So last weekend we started our summer project. Our goal was we were going to redo the landscaping in the back our our home for a cheaply as possible. Who would have thought OUR friends would be digging theirs up the same weekend and have a backyard full of perenials. So this is what we did.
Pretty Sweet huh? the best part is it was FREE! and some of it alreay
started to flower. it is gorgeous. I just pray that i don't kill it.
that would make it so free didn't really mean much.
then I got to purchase two beautiful Hanging baskets. I have wanted these for three years now. Can you believe this coming weekend we have lived in our house for three years. It is crazy to look back and think about how we were only going to stay for 5 years and how long that seemed to us. What a big commitment we were making :).

Prison Area Don't pick up hitchhikers

So Everytime we go down to Indy we pass this sign by Grissom Air Force Base that says Prison area do not pick up hitchhikers. SO they warn you but in the same mile there are three gas stations and a car dealership. What are they thinking? here is the proof:

so are we setting our prison escapee's up to be successful or were we just not thinking when we placed our bussinesses so close? What do you all think?

I gotta say I have always vowed never to stop at any of these gas stations and the othere week when we were headed down to Riley, it wasn't even Jackson that made me stop, I had to go to the bathroom so bad and there was no way I could even hold it 20 more minutes to get to Kokomo. isn't it sad that I could tell you how many rest stops, bathrooms, gas stations and minutes it would take you from one to the other almost the whole way to Indy. I gotta tell you I can't wait until Jackson turns three and all of our trips are down to once a year. Won't that be the day.

EYES On the Road when driving, dude.

ok so we headed to RILEY last friday and we got some good and some bad news. We found out that there isn't a chance for reoccurance if we have another child...Praise the LORD. however as you can see in the pics we had many stops on our way home...Jackson got fussy I think about every 1/2 hour. It made for a fun trip home let me tell you.
the odd (ironic) part was he was happy the minute he was out of his carseat...i think he just has dad wrapped around his little finger. but oh well...it only took us and hour to get through Kokomo. Earlier this week we *Adrian and I* got the chance for a date night...JW called us with extra tickets to the WHite SOx TWIns game. it was awesome just to get out and have fun even though the TWINKIES lost. oh well. it was a very quick game.. good thing too because we still got home at 1:30 in the morning and Jackson woke up at 4:30. God was good though he let me sleep as a mother's day gift on Saturday.

For an update on Jackson, we are back in the hospital due to not gaining weight. WE have gotten some interesting news, not good. but we are waiting until tomorrow for a test to confirm our suspicions before we explain it all. they are looking at the speed at which things move through him. they are suspecting that his intestines are not working as fast as they need to to process his food. we will wait, pray and see what we find.
